In the Belgian pigeon sport, no star has risen as fast as that of Tom and Marnik Van Gaver. In 2020, there’s been even more prestige added to their fantastic performance curve. The 2020 season was spiced up with a national victory, 4 zonal victories, 2 provincial victories, 8 national ace pigeons and 3 top results in the ace pigeons Olympic Hope. In a short corona season, Tom's colony showed a lot of resilience, resulting in brilliant performances with highlights in all categories and on all distances. Everybody knows by now Tom's recipe: playing weekly with the same pigeons and doing this at all distances up to 750 km. Pigeons that make sure things are happening on the national races every week and show what they are made of, again and again. The heart of the colony is based on the 2 icons, FINN and RICKY, who keep bringing top results in their own loft as well as in many other lofts. And… the cherry on the cake? Winning the prestigious 1st nat. Ace pigeon in the national races (youngsters), with “Finnman” from Tom’s good friend, Philip De Maeseneer, and achieving this with a grandson of FINN.
